1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnchorForms ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including form creators and form fillers. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.

2. Description of Service

AnchorForms is a web-based service that allows users to upload PDF documents, add fillable fields, publish shareable form links, and collect responses. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid plans.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the content you upload does not violate these terms or any applicable laws
• Providing accurate information when creating your account
• Being at least 13 years of age at the time of account creation

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AnchorForms to:

• Upload, distribute, or collect illegal content of any kind
• Collect sensitive personal information without proper consent
• Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to AnchorForms, including PDF files and form responses. By uploading content, you grant AnchorForms a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content.

6. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis and processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

7. Plan Limits

Each plan includes limits on the number of forms, monthly responses, and PDF file sizes as described on the billing page. If you exceed your plan limits, new responses may be blocked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from plan limit enforcement.

8. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time from the Billing page or by contacting us at support@anchorforms.com. Upon deletion, all of your data including uploaded PDFs, form configurations, and collected responses will be permanently and immediately deleted. This action is irreversible.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or damages resulting from service interruptions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination for violations, your data may be deleted immediately without the 30-day grace period. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from account termination due to terms violations.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

AnchorForms is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnchorForms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
